Edge of Sanity‘s grandiose fifth album from 1996, the critically acclaimed and influential one-song and 40minute concept Crimson, is finally properly re-issued. Remastered by Dan Swanö himself, Crimson is available as LP as 180 Gram LP plus Double CD with Crimson remixed.
Following the successful launch of the extensive reissue campaign for the precious musical legacy of Sweden’s seminal melodic death metal band Edge of Sanity, which will begin in 2024, here’s the third chapter, with titles to be released in June and August 2025…
Led by vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and acclaimed metal producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Dissection, Bloodbath, Nightingale, etc.), Edge of Sanity’s entire catalogue has been completely remastered and partly even remixed by Swanö himself and will finally be made available in several attractive versions: The groundbreaking, genre-breaking, one-song (!) masterpiece concept album from 1996, “Crimson”, which features a remarkable guest appearance by Opeth mastermind Mikael Åkerfeldt, will finally be available as a remastered version.
