Sound Of Smoke – Phases (LP Pink Marble)

A year after the debut “Tales” follows with “Phases” the new, extremely exciting work of the Freiburg Psychedelic & Blues Rock band SOUND OF SMOKE. In Berlin’s Big Snuff Studio, the album was recorded and mixed on tape by scene icon Richard Behrens in a 10-day session, using technology from the 60s and 70s, and then mastered by Emanuelle Barreto. Behrens, who has already played with numerous well-known bands such as B. Kadavar, Elder, All Them Witches or Samsara Blues Experiment, with his experience he knew how to skilfully record the different mood spectrums of the songs.
This is how the Eldorado for vintage gear lovers created a varied record with “Phases”, which covers every taste with catchy blues rock riffs, oriental sounds, up to floating, spherical sound worlds, but also krautrock.
