The Drops – Fatal Fall (LP 7”)
8.00 € inc. VAT
During 1990, two schoolmates, Panos Christoforou and Dimitris (Sidheog) Stevis formed the dark wave band, The Drops. Soon they were joined by singer Stratos Theologitis and started auditions for a guitar player.
With the addition of Nikos Sebekopoulos, the band really took off. Their sound was close enough to the Cure, the Smiths, and the Sound. Theologitis was singing in English and Sebekopoulos’ guitars were strongly influenced by the English band, Bauhaus. Since they were based in Piraeus, most of their gigs were in their area with a few gigs in Athens, as well. The band had just a couple of gigs in the countryside before having their first release, the 7″ single “Fatal Fall” in 1994.
