Xylina Spathia was one of the most popular musical bands in Greece, coming from Thessaloniki, which in the 1990s stood out for its distinctive sound, which was unprecedented for the Greek data of the time.

Their music combines elements from pop, rock and electronica, while maintaining a Greek melodic “color”, while the intensely personal and experiential lyrics of Pavlos Pavlidis are distinguished for their poetry and iconography. More generally, the songs of Xylina Spathia are dominated by an atmosphere of emotional charge, expressed sometimes with extroversion and intense rhythms and sometimes with a calm interiority.
