Γιώργος Ρωμανός – Δυο Μικρά Γαλάζια Άλογα (LP)
26.00 € inc. VAT
In 1970, Romanos takes out the L.P. “Two Little Blue Horses”, atLYRA.
The album contains 10 songs in music and lyrics by Giorgos Romanos (except “King of the Heart” and “My Karagiozis, My Cardboard” in lyrics by A. Daskalopoulos), interpreted by him of course. But, in the case of this album, the orchestration of Alekos Karakadas, who even plays lead guitar. Karakantas, who was also guitarist of the band Juniors, has given the songs a purely psychedelic rock character.
Distorted voices (Fifteen keys), sound effects (The paper violin), guitar repetitive parts(Two Little Blue Horses), and I would say “rock” lyrics (The imaginary doctor), give a result generally excellent and certainly innovative for that time. Listen to “Grandma” and “Life is a Dream”, listen to Karakanta’s guitar and tell me if he has anything to envy from foreign productions of the time…
